contact Gordon direct Gordon Jeffrey
Managing Director
Gordon was one of the founding partners of Aqualife Services and has been managing the Company since 1996. He spent the first four years as a full-time vaccinator and Team Leader and was an occasional vaccinator until 2008 after which time his role as Managing Director became full time.

He had a varied career prior to Aqualife with time spent in the Forces, as a computer programmer and as a sheep farmer on the Isle of Skye.

His interests outside work include hill walking, gardening and football.
Gordon is very ambitious for the Company and is very proud of all that’s been achieved since humble beginnings in 1996. Aquaculture is a great, growing industry and he is focused on Aqualife growing and prospering with it.

Ops Director
Phil’s been passionate about fish since his early childhood days spent fishing in Drumnadrochit near Inverness. This passion took him to Stirling University where he studied and got a degree in Biology specialising in Aquaculture.

His first appointment in Aquaculture was in 19901 with Strathaird Ltd. He quickly became a marine site manager and vaccinated his first fish in 1993.
Phil started working for Aqualife in 1998 as a vaccinator and Team Leader and has worked for the Company ever since. Phil has this year moved from Operations manager, a role he held for 6 years, to Operations Director and he wants to spend more time putting his experience and ideas for vaccinating and aquaculture into practise.

Phil is still a keen fisherman and can often be found at the weekend, rod in hand, on the beaches of Fife.

Finance Manager
Moyra has worked in various roles in the agricultural sector following her university education studying agriculture and then farm business management. In 2001 she went back to Uni to study for a post grad diploma in IT and Finance which brought her to Edinburgh. It was here that she met Gordon and was ‘encouraged’ to come work for Aqualife to manage the accounts in 2008.




Since then she has helped develop the finance department for the company for the function to grow and develop in step with the growth Aqualife Services has experienced.


When not in the office, Moyra likes to spend time out of doors walking or cycling and if the weather is not that kind is usually found on the sofa with her nose in a good book or watching a good film.

Ops Manager
Robert has a military background and specialises in planning, procedures, training and workforce management. He is passionate about providing first class customer service ensuring our workforce provide a quality, professional and world class vaccination process.



When not on company duty, Robert can be found on the side lines watching his son playing football.
